3 Steps To Create Your Most Productive Week Ever!

Looking for a change?  Want to hit more of your goals?  Want to be more productive?
Take on this challenge!  Follow these 3 steps and see how much more productive you will be.

1. On Sunday night spend 15-30 minutes mapping out your week.  Take out a blank piece of paper and at the top write down 1-2 main goals for the week.  Then write out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and write down what you have planned for each day.  Anything you have going on, write it down.  Plan on excersizing? Write it down.  Need to hit a goal at work? Write it down.  Whatever you plan on doing each day, write it down under that day.

2. On Sunday night, prepare a "What Am I Eating This Week List."  This is especially helpful for us working moms.  What I do is just like step one, I write out Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and I write out what I am making for dinner each night.  Then I create a grocery list.  Sunday is usually my day off or my fun day so I do my grocery shopping on Monday after work.  Find a day that works for you!  Now that you have your "What Am I Eating This Week List" you don't have to worry about the stress of, "OMG I'm so tired now I have to go home and think about what I am making for dinner."  You can also apply this to breakfast and lunch if you want to get REALLY organized with your eating so it's one less thing to think about.
Tip: When cooking dinner, make enough portions to last for 2 days so you don't have to cook everyday.

3. This week, every morning wake up 30 minutes before you usually do and get mentally prepared for your day.  DO NOT CHECK YOUR EMAIL, INSTAGRAM, PHONE CALLS, TEXT, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, READ THE NEWS OR WATCH TV when you wake up until you complete this 30 minute step.  This will affect your mood and thoughts.  Take charge of your mood and your day before outside factors do.  Use this time to look at the list you made on number 1, and on a new piece of paper, map out a more exact plan of what you have to accomplish that day (ex: excersizing, taking kids to school, kids activities, what you have to accomplish at work, what are your goals for that day, what are you going to eat, what errands do you have to run, etc.).  Whatever it is you have to do that day, write it down and hold yourself accountable to accomplishing it!  Follow through with what you need to get done that day.
Tip: It is best to do this 30 minute step before your significant other or kids wake up.  Best case scenario, try to be in silence and map out your day without distractions.

Keep these lists by your night stand and feel free to look at them before you sleep as well.  Make it a great week.  How our week goes is OUR CHOICE and it is up to us to create it.  Nothing can control how our week goes but us.  You either control your week, or your week controls you!

Let me know how this works out for you!  Let's have an amazing productive week.

xoxo,
